Wipro Consumer Care (LDW) Malaysia has created a niche in the market with its iconic brands and a distinctive product portfolio in the personal care, skin care and health care segments. The key brands in the portfolio are Bio Essence, Ginvera, Ebene, Syahirah, MaxKleen and Nappikleen.

- 1945 – Wipro was incorporated on December 29th, 1945 by Mohammed Hashem Premi as Western India Vegetable Products Limited
- 1946 – Our humble beginnings! Launch of the Amalner Factory
- 1988 – Wipro relaunched the W logo and introduced the Rainbow flower with a new promise statement – Ginvera was founded and Launched of Ginvera
- 1967 – Azim H Premji takes over the company, appointed as the MD

- 2017 – Wipro recasts logo, values to mark new brand identity
- 2018 – Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting business crosses USD 1 billion revenue – Changed name to Wipro Consumer Care – Best Companies to work for in Asia Consecutive 5 years
- 2019 – Bio-Essence becomes No.1 facial moisturizer in Malaysia – Launched of Dr.Dermis
- 2020 – Wipro Group becomes Personal Care #1 (Including LDWM)
