As an Assistant QA Manager, I am equally proud to work for a Company that not only ensures the high standards that meet the health and quality requirements set by the authorities but also the stringent standards for Halal certification. I first started with WUM in the year 2006 as a driver to the Managing Director of Unza Malaysia. Wipro acquired Unza Malaysia in 2007 and we are known as Wipro Unza Malaysia. In 2009, I was assigned to HR Department as Security Officer. Over the last 17 years I have witnessed how WUM grew as a Company, in terms of business turnover as well as size of employees. Many great initiatives were put in place, for example today we have a Rooftop Gymnasium & Garden made available for the employees, and we embrace diversity in culture by celebrating major festivals such as Hari Raya, Chinese New Year and Diwali company wide. This is truly a Great Place to Belong and I am proud to be part of the WUM family.

I started out as a fresh graduate in 2018 and was placed under the Future Leader Program which provided a 360-degree view of the FMCG industry with understanding in both practical & theoretical knowledge. In my role as a Senior Process Design Engineer, I am attached to the Manufacturing department, which is typically viewed as a male-dominated environment. Throughout my tenure with the Company, I have never been discriminated against or felt disadvantaged because of my gender. On the contrary, WUM places high priority in ensuring that the safety of its women employees is in place. I truly appreciate the support of my boss and colleagues during my pregnancy and maternity leave period. The Company even provides lactation room facility for nursing mothers.
