In 2009, Bio-essence was honored as an Asia-recommended brand by Watsons. In 2013, our exceptional products caught the attention of Wipro Consumer Care, one of India’s top two publicly listed companies. This led to an acquisition, with Taiwan becoming the easternmost member of Wipro Consumer Care’s extensive network across Southeast Asia, covering Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Dubai, the UK, and South Africa. Upon joining the Wipro Group, we transitioned towards a larger corporate and more systematic operational model. Not only do we provide diversified career development training programs based on employees’ roles, but the group also conducts regular performance assessments to offer salary adjustments and promotion opportunities. Our aim is to create a joyful working environment for employees. In December 2018, we even established an employee lounge equipped with essentials such as refrigerators, microwaves, ovens, and coffee machines, along with provisions like tea bags and coffee. Our aspiration is to make the workplace feel like home for our employees.

Since 2016, Bio-essence has consistently held the top position in the over-the-counter skincare products category at Watsons in Taiwan. In 2020, we began expanding into other pharmacy channels, committed to becoming a leading brand in the over-the-counter skincare market.
